GO VOLS
I took Don to Neyland Stadium while he was here. Showed him what Tennesse Football Spirit was all about. He enjoyed Vol Village. Of course, he was for the Oregon Ducks (being from the PAC 10 area). After it started to rain, I gave him one of my UT ponchos to put on. He got some nasty stares cheering for Oregon while wearing it. Game was weather delayed for over an hour, but we stayed and had a great time.
We went on to Pigeon Forge the next morning and met Dad and Betty there for a few days of the car show. We went to the Great Smokey Murder Mystery Dinner Show...... if you ever get a chance, go see that. It is ssssoooo funny and they get the crown involved. Food is really good, especially dessert. We went back to the Comedy Barn, too. That is always funny.
Don's company has a plant in Gallatin, so we went by there on Thursday. His boss wanted him to look at a machine they were having trouble with. He got compensated for going, which is nice. We went on to Nashville to hang out downtown. That is always fun. Didn't want him to go home, but he will be back here Oct 28th for Halloween weekend.

Pete and His Sandrail
For those of you that might not know; my brother, Pete passed away July 16th. On Monday, the 12th, he was going to check out a new resturant in his sandrail. A woman ran a stop sign and hit him, knocking off the back wheel, drivers side. It put Pete in a spin and into a utility pole. He was in a coma and not breathing when EMS got there. He was on life support and still in a coma. He sustained brain injuries that he would never recover from. Pete had a conversation with his son within a couple weeks of this and left written instructions of his wishes. It was hard to watch, but I'm glad I was there when it ended. Several of us will be going back to Louisville for the memorial service and visitaion tomorrow. Please, keep us all in your prayers. Pete was proud of his sandrail. He built it from the ground up, having it registered as historic/antique with a '71 VW motor. I've been riding with him several times,,, most fun was going over the railroad track and Marshall Hill. My hair always looked a mess,,, but I didn't care. I was having fun with my baby brother. I will surely miss him.

What A Happy Couple
Don and I have gotten our picture taken every year on our cruise. This was taken the night of the Captians Mixer..... SEE JENNIFER,,,, NO BLACK DRESS!!! I got red as you suggested. Thanks to Mary Lou for finding it at Belk before Christmas. I wasn't even going to look at the dresses, but she almost insisted I try it on. Even got it on SALE...
Anyway, Don and I had a great time.
My car is in the shop again,,,, different mechanic... He found something nobody else had found. A burnt wire harness that connects my ignition to the body control module (which practically controls everything. I pray this is the fix. If not,,, I'll be putting a new car under my butt.
