Heather brought her girls over after I got off work Thursday and they spent the night. We went to Wal-mart Friday morning and I bought the stuff to make Italian Sausage & Lentil Soup like Carrabbas makes. While I was cooking, I figured I might as well go ahead and make the Vegetable Beef Soup, too. Well, I have enough individual servings of soup frozen to last me awhile. It's the greatest thing to have when I'm tired and don't want to cook, but don't want a sandwich or take out. I also made chocolate pudding --"like the kind Daddy makes" for the girls. We had a good time. Heather and Avery was at work, so the girls and I went to Cracker Barrel for supper on the way home. I had promised Lydia we'd go for mac/cheese. Rachel ate more than Lydia. Rachel almost cleaned her plate.
Sunday, I went to my Dad's for Fathers Day. As far as I can remember, it's the first time any of us ever did that for him. Eric talked Dad into getting out the go-cart and mini bike. They took turns riding it, but it had been a while since I've riden anything like that, so I figured I might need extra room. Maybe next time. Jennifer and Bo picked at each other all afternoon. Jennifer got Bo good with her water bottle. Seems like we all had a good time. We should do that more often. I really miss family time together. We used to do things like that alot years ago.
