ZIPLINE--YIPEEEEEE

Don and I left early Monday morning for Whistler, BC, Canada. The drive was awesome-- I thought we had mountians in Tennessee till I saw all of these. I took a lot of pictures from the car, I just hope they turned out good. The ski lodge was fantastic and the village covered with people.

The Zipline was different than the rest. It had a automatic braking system, which was safer than the others that I've been on, but it didn't help keep you straight forward. The longest line was FAST. It was great. The last line was called "freestyle". That meant that they changed your hook, so you could turn upside down--yeah,,, you read right. I was the second one to go and was going to stay upright,,, I didn't want to chance loosing my glasses. The guide said he'd hold them in his pack for me,,, so I gave it a shot. "ye, haw". After I went, Don told them that now he had to go upside down, too. He said that if I could do it so could he. After we got to the bottom, one of the others told me that I had set the standard. Guess none of them was going to let a woman much older than them do it and they not. I'm glad I did, because I would have always wondered what it would have been like.

We got stuck in traffic in Seattle last night and missed the dinner cruise. That was OK for me. Maybe some other time. We got dinner downtown and came home. I think both of us were really tired from all the constant going. Just slept late this morning and hanging out relaxing. Can't wait to tell all of you about my trip. I'm having a blast..... doing good for what most of you would consider a "old woman"---ha, ha, ha
