SENIOR DAY

Don and I decided to go to the Tennessee State Fair Thursday, since we didn't have anything else planned. I had found out the seniors (55& up) got in for 1/2 price, so we figured it would be a cheap day. When we got there and Don told them "2 seniors please", they told him we were free. Not understanding, we thought OK!!!! As we got on in, we found out that it was SENIOR DAY. We got in free, got a free lunch, free snacks and some free stuff at the Volunteeer Bldg, saw some free shows. We spent a couple hours there and had a pretty good time. BUT,,, after seeing some of those "senior citizens", we were grateful to not be in as bad a shape as most of them were. It turned out to be a good day.

Friday, we just hung around the house most of the day, going out to Tuesdays for lunch and La Hasenda for supper. We left Saturday around noon heading for the airport. Had lunch at Olive Garden in M'boro. I mowed as soon as I got home and was finished before he took off. The house feels empty and lonely. Guess, I just got used to him being here. I'll be there 5 wks 4 days.
