I took my car to the body shop after work Tuesday and Enterprize was there with my rental--- a KIA Sportage. I'll be so glad to get my Impala back. The supplier sent the wrong bumper, so they won't get finished till tomorrow.
Thursday night, I met my in-laws and Heather at First United Methodist Church for the banquet for the families that lost somebody in Viet Nam. It was a emotional night, but I think I did real well. I really didn't know my brother-in-law, Carl Stovall that was killed in '67. I didn't even meet Ray till '68 and didn't date him till '70. But, I was engaged to Charles Napper when he was killed. It felt good for these guys to finally really get honored for their scarafice.
Saturday night, we all gathered at Dad and Bettys' for their annual weiner roast. The kids just kept running around, having a great time. I think it's good for young cousins to get together, just as the older ones do. I hope all of you had a great Halloween. Now, it's time to get ready for Thanksgiving....

I love our annual weiner roast at Grandpa and Gigi's house. It's nice to see the little ones getting to know each other...hopefully they will grow up close.
