I had a blast in the Northwest this weekend. Just got home around 8 tonight. I got a couple things at the antique show in Portland, OR and was upset when I got home to find a porcelain spoon, that went with a sugar bowl I bought, got broke in my suitcase. I thought I had it packed good. OH WELL!! That's life. Don took me on a Jazz Brunch Cruise while I was there. It was a gift from his son, Tim. It was real nice and the food was awesome. I ate so much that I didn't even eat any dinner that night ( just got a snack). We went back to Pike Place Market Friday. I really enjoy that place. I've been everytime I've been out there and will probably go again, next time. There's a old Mom and Pop resturant down there that has fresh fish everyday and I love it. The only thing,,,, they don't have hush puppies (they just don't know what they are missing). We ate at a place called Country Cousins on our way to Portland. It's alot like Cracker Barrel. When you open the door to go in, it makes a sound like a rooster is crowing. I really had a good time.
My friend Steve called me this morning. His son called at the last minute and couldn't go to the Titans/Colts game, so Steve wanted to know if I wanted to go. I was still in Seattle. It would have been fun to be there, but I had rather be in Washington with Don.
